César and I have been talking about the idea of getting a dog. He thinks I had a trauma after I gave my beloved Taj up to my L.A. family after realizing I wasn't cut out for a dog yet. We know that it's definitely not a "GOOD" idea, but really...when is it ever? We just have dogs 'cause we love 'em, and they are worth the hassle. In the end after days of contemplating the idea we decided after walking past an adorable litter of baby rabbits, "kits" that it was the perfect animal for our situation. Perfect little quiet, and independent animal to hop around in our apartment. So now we have Lulú! The adorable white baby bunny! She is so sweet. We brought her home in a box, and bought a medium sized cage. I never thought I'd have a rabbit, but I have to say that she is truly affectionate, and smart. She runs around the room in and out of her "home" since we leave her little door open. She is so small, and only one month old. Something I didn't know is that she can be litter box trained, AND whoever said that rabbits are dirty animals are completely WRONG. They are extremely clean and tend to "go to the bathroom" in the same spot of their cage so that they don't have to sit in their own stuff.
We are very happy and entertained with little Lulú.
